The time of Advent has drawn to a close, the “waiting” for the “coming” has ended and we celebrate Christ’s birth!

You know the Christmas Story:

Angels appear…

Conceive a child of the Holy Spirit?

Immanuel: God with us!

Elizabeth, also with miraculous child, worships.

Joseph,  faithful to God, cares for Mary.

Census called, the young couple travel.

Birth draws near, no room for them appears, Our Lord born in a stable.

Shepherds speak of a heavenly host proclaim.

Magi visit, honor, gift…

And that is just the beginning!

Scripture says, “Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.”

See, some moments are so special, they should not be forgotten.

Some moments take time for the full weight and meaning to set into understanding.

God was at work.

And “Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.”

Christmas was special then AND it is special now. God IS at work.

What special moments does your Christmas contain? Whether it is the way God has been speaking to you in this Advent season or how you have had cherished moment of family time… take this chance to treasure up these things in your heart as well.
