Time goes by way too fast.
It seems like I blinked and we went from preparing for staff arriving to looking at the last two days of camp.
At anytime in the middle it seemed like there was TONS of time left.
And that’s the way it goes.
Life has a lot of details that need to be taken care of, looked after, or attended to… and sometimes all those details grow into a list too big to ever be completed or worries about preparing for all possible contingencies. And in that moment, the moment is actually lost.
It is important to look to the future, to take care of details… but it is also important to live the moments we are in when we are in them.
I encourage the staff and campers to make the most of the moments we are given. To live the life.
Jesus came that we could life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Are we choosing to live the abundant life moment by moment?
I am trying to… how about you? What is getting in the way of you living this moment?
